St Mary's School is a Full Primary School. That means our classes start at year 1 ( five year olds ) and go to year 8 ( 12 and 13 year olds ) We are a Catholic School; a school of Special Character. We do all the usual things excellent schools do and then we do that little bit more. We develop the whole child as we encourage them to grow academically, socially, culturally and spiritually. Our school environment reflects dignity, academic high standards and respect. Our children learn how to learn. Our children develop the responsibilities they need to make their way into tomorrow’s world.
We are a leader school. Our staff teach with the latest teaching pedagogies. Our staff train other staff in some of our cities biggest Primary Schools. We are a growing school but not too big to lose that sense of family where everybody knows everybody else's name and everyone is valued for who they are.
