Kia ora! My name is Karyn Slade and I have recently returned from London after spending 3.5 years teaching and travelling there. I taught Year 6's at Trinity Church of England Primary School. I was previously at St Mary's School from 2009 until 2013 where I taught in the Senior School Years 5-8.  This year I teach in the Junior School which is an exciting challenge.  I love ICT and have previously been an ICT Coordinator. I enjoy using a variety of apps and websites in the classroom to engage children in their learning and particularly enjoy coding. I have grown up in Wanganui and lived on a farm as a child. I have loved travelling the world exploring new places, so far I have travelled to 31 countries. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going to the beach, camping and playing squash.
